Join the Greater San Diego Music Coterie for an exciting exhibition of "Exotic Attractions" on Sunday, September 28 at 2:30pm at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Hillcrest.
Featuring the Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra directed by Dr. Angela Yeung, the performance samples the Western art music composers' interpretation of exoticism: selections from Lully's Le Bourgeois gentilhomme, Weber's Incidental Music to Turandot, Beethoven's Ruins of Athens, Ibert's Escales, and Holst's Beni Mora. Soprano Emily Ortlieb will perform the Bell Aria from Delibes's Lakmé and “Asie” from Ravel's song cycle Shéhérazade.
All Saints Episcopal Church offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Feel free to bring a blanket and enjoy the concert from the church's shady courtyard.
