EX!T is a liberal, open-minded place that encourages diversity, tolerance & equality. We want EX!T to be a celebration of life & techno music for everybody.
Born into a musical family, Nur Jaber had a love for playing the piano and drums throughout her childhood. Embracing these strong musical roots, it was only natural that in 2010 following a move to Berlin, she found herself becoming immersed in the house and techno scene that the magical city has to offer. Nur’s beautiful yet troubled homeland of Beirut, Lebanon has served as an ongoing inspiration for her creativity - Her depth of emotional investment in her art is immediately apparent in her distinctive and trademark production sound, which often includes her own vocals - a shining example that art which reflects personal experiences is one of the most sincere ways of communicating with people.
Summers spent at Boston’s Berklee College of Music allowed Nur to gain a plethora of valuable experiences and musical knowledge, and the enhanced ability to translate her feelings into music - it was here that her love of electronic music first really started to take hold. In her own words, Nur is on a journey to “communicate in the language of music.” There are few dancefloors in the world that afford a DJ the opportunity to do this in the same way that Berghain does. Nur’s powerful ability to tell a story through music and interact with the crowd was highlighted when she played an 11 hour marathon set there in November 2019, remaining a regular performer at the legendary club ever since.
The re-opening of the global scene in 2022 saw Nur carry on with the strong trajectory that she left on, playing her fifth Boiler Room set, having also headlined for the prestigious platform in the USA.
Add to this the raft of landmark performances she has had with the likes of Tomorrowland [BE], Awakenings ADE, [NL], Glitch Festival [MT], amongst many others - her dedication to her craft and popularity with fans continue to be internationally recognised. Meticulous and dedicated preparation, and a strong understanding of territories and cultures ensures that whether playing an extended set to an intimate crowd, or 2 hours on a festival mainstage - Nur curates and delivers a set that has an understanding of time, place and mood, and brings the crowd on the journey with her from the first till the last record.
Based between Glasgow and their hometown Berlin, experimental Techno-Pop prodigy Luca Eck represents a young generation that wants to transcend the binary. Fusing the dystopian soundscapes of harsh electronic music with heartfelt songwriting and their background in classical music, Luca Eck “brings emotion into everything they touch” (Wonderland). Aged 22, they have
toured globally and built up an impressive discography including releases on Anetha’s Mama Told Ya or Amelie Lens’ Global Underground Compilation, racking up more than six million streams while making appearances on BBC Radio 1, HÖR and Arte Concert. Luca Eck began their musical journey at the age of 5, mastering classical piano and double bass. From the tender age of 11, they ventured into electronic music production, meticulously crafting their distinctive blend of pop and techno with a keen eye for sonic innovation. Their music weaves intimate narratives atop
cutting-edge beats, offering a thoughtful exploration of themes surrounding gender, sexuality, and identity. Throughout their journey, Luca Eck collaborated with a range of forward thinking artists as diverse as their own sound - including AIM award winner TAAHLIAH, Berghain regular Nur Jaber and the critically acclaimed
Izzy Camina.
