About this Event

Do you know how you will exit your business when the time comes?

Learn how you can set up an exit strategy for your business at this workshop brought to you by Business Tasmania in partnership with Business North West, the Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Central Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kentish and Latrobe Independent Business Association.

Our presenter, Warren Moore from the Braddon Business Centre, is an experienced business advisor who delivers the Tasmanian Government's New Business Support Pilot Program and the Tasmanian Business Advice Service. Warren will help guide you through what an exit strategy is and how you can put one in place for your business, to support you both now and into the future.

Specifically, this workshop will provide an overview of the main strategies you could implement to exit your business, including:

· Business sale;

· Ownership succession;

· Management succession; and,

· Shutting the doors and walking away.

Warren will cover the main steps to take when implementing each strategy and the advantages and disadvantages of each, to help you determine which may work best for your situation.

Hear about further support available to you through free state government initiatives, with Kelly Brown, the Manager of Business Tasmania.

Whether you are an intender, in the midst of growing your business, or have a steady business but ready to retire, this event is suitable to all stages of business and experience levels.
