Metamorphosis is a journey of transformation of an individual. It is an act of searching for the true self in the chaotic world through letting go of fears, anger and dark selfishness. Milena Medvedeva (memlena), a Russian visual and tattoo artist based in Helsinki, explores the underlying nature of human emotions and feelings in her artworks by both depicting real-life subjects and letting the subconscious get free in abstraction.
The program of the event includes the pop-up exhibition, walk-in tattoo day and music performances by local DJs.
