About this Event
Join us Saturday, January 24, from 11am–1pm to celebrate new exhibitions at Library Street Collective and Louis Buhl & Co. with light brunch bites.
At Library Street Collective, experience a two-person exhibition featuring Jordan Ann Craig and Joanna Keane Lopez, curated by Allison Glenn. A conversation with the artists will take place at 11:15AM moderated by Allison Glenn.
Louis Buhl & Co. will debut "Threads," a solo exhibition of new work by Houston-based artist Paul Kremer.
A Heart and a Land considers the formal and conceptual connections between Jordan Ann Craig’s (Northern Cheyenne) and Joanna Keane Lopez’s practices and shared communities, which are both rooted in New Mexico and the San Francisco Bay Area.
In collaboration with Magnolia Editions, Paul Kremer has translated digital compositions from his Peel series into intricate weave structures produced on customized Jacquard looms. Complementing the textile works, the exhibition will showcase a series of works on paper and small-scale embroidered pieces.
