About this Event
Authentic painting is a slow process. Some of Chris’s large Mono prints were briefly shown at Leeds Print Workshop before Covid, and she has recently worked back into them with colour and hand silk screen printing. Her art focuses on people and places, reflecting her Northern heritage and semi-autobiographical themes. The works include limited palette paintings inspired by Leeds’s history and vibrant pieces influenced by family holidays abroad and developed from iPad images collected over many years.

Ginger Works is open for viewing during the exhibition from 9.30 am to 5:30pm on weekdays by appointment. Additionally, there will be a special late opening event on Thursday 26th Feb 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, where visitors can meet the artist. Refreshments will be provided.
All the work exhibited is for sale.
