About Bloomfield: 1925-2025

Opened in 1925 as Orange Mental Hospital, Bloomfield Hospital has shaped life in Orange and the Central West for a century. From employment and education to sport, arts and community events, Bloomfield's history has been deeply entwined with that of our region.
Join us for this special centenary exhibition, featuring rare photographs and film, compelling objects, and interactives tracing changing treatments, social attitudes, culture, and everyday life at Bloomfield from 1925 to today.
