The Historical Society of Early American Decoration (HSEAD) will be holding its 79th annual exhibition of member awards in Early American Decorative Arts from May 2 through May 4 at the Sonesta Hotel Downtown White Plains. This free exhibition features members juried awards and original works including American painted tinware, theorems, school girl art, bronze powder stenciling, free hand bronze painting, reverse glass painting and much more. HSEAD is an organization devoted to the research and preservation of historically authentic early American decoration and the perpetuation of the techniques used by artisans of these arts in 19th century America. Its mission is to expand the unique skills and knowledge of Early American Decoration.
