We’re excited to announce the first solo exhibition at Tea Amantes by Kenny McRae, a street and documentary photographer from Salford. Many of you already know Kenny from our monthly photowalks with Lee and Stan — now you’ll have the chance to see his work brought together on our gallery walls.Under the title “Northern Souls”, this exhibition combines two of Kenny’s series: It’s Not So Grim and Street Souls: Blackpool. His photographs capture the humour, resilience, and warmth of Northern life — fleeting moments on the streets of Manchester, Liverpool, and Blackpool, as well as intimate portraits that reveal the soul of a seaside town.
