In 2022, community members from across Greeley came together with an ambitious goal. Seeing a lack of Mexican American stories in local history books, they decided it was time to write their own. Since then, the Mexican American History Project of Greeley group has interviewed dozens of local residents, conducted extensive research, and gathered all of their findings into a a book.“Our History, Our Voice: Mexican American History Project of Greeley” explores this grassroots effort to celebrate, elevate and share the contributions of our local Mexican American residents.
Exhibit will be open through September 2026.
