Award winning actress, playwright, and director Regina Taylor will perform her one-woman play, EXHIBIT followed by an interview with actor, and playwight L Trey Wilson Sunday March 23rd @ 2PM.
About EXHIBIT:
In “EXHIBIT”, we follow Iris, an artist triggered by today’s backlash and rollback of social progress. As she retraces her childhood memories of the martyrdom of innocence for a cause in a violently fractured civil rights era America, Iris grapples with the question: What is the cost of a ticket to freedom—and when will we ever arrive?
“EXHIBIT” is the Recipient of the 2023 Solo Flights Award. Taylor is presenting public readings of the work in selected cities during this very incendiary times.. The play will premiere at Denver Colorado’s in May 2025.
$20 suggested donation, limited seating available.
After the show, there will be a 10-minute break, followed by a talk and conversation with Regina Taylor and L. Trey Wilson.

TV credits include : Taylor in her TV role as Lily Harper in "I'll Fly Away” received a Golden Globe Award for Best Lead Actress, 3 NAACP Image Awards and 2 Emmy Award nominations. Taylor was first African American lead in Masterpiece Theatre’s "Cora Unashamed”, starred as Anita Hill in HBO’’s “Strange Justice” (Gracie Award), “A Good Day to Die” (Sidney Poitier) “The Unit”, “CSI Vegas", “Justified”, “First Lady”, “Love Craft Country” and “The Wonder Years”
Film credits include: "The Negotiator,” (Samuel Jackson), "Courage Under Fire,” (Denzel Washington), ”Clockers,” (Spike Lee), “Losing Isaiah” (Halle Berry) "Lean on Me”, (Morgan Freeman) Saturday Church
Taylor was the first Black woman to play Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" on Broadway.
