Join us for an immersive meditation session within the heart of the exhibition colorforms by Susan Currie that will explore the profound connection between mindfulness, the body and creativity. Led by Elaine Pomfrey, a senior teacher and co-director of the Transcendental Meditation Center of Palm Beach and Susan Currie exhibiting artist, participants will be surrounded by the work of Currie as they journey through guided meditation designed to awaken the senses, regulate the nervous system and deepen our connection to the present moment.Across this event, Susan and Elaine will lead a relaxing conversation that weaves together the impact of meditation on creativity and discuss the science and mechanics of meditative practice. Followed by an introductory meditation and ending with a Q&A. Whether you’re an experienced meditator or new to the practice, this event will offer a fresh perspective on how mindfulness can enhance our engagement with art and unlock our creative potential.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, A cushion or mat if you like or you may stay seated in your chair. Space is limited to 30 people ensure an intimate experience.
