About this Event
November 14 - 9:00am - 4:30pm: Kaizen Training at Gemba Academy Facility
November 15 - 9:00am - 10:30am: Off-Site Tour
The session is tailored to help leaders at all levels integrate Kaizen principles into their operational processes for enhanced performance and innovation. During the workshop, you will learn how to facilitate a Kaizen at your own facility, through hands on simulation & observation. Additional coaching is also offered as an add-on, giving attendees access to Gemba Academy's content and meeting with a Gemba Academy coach 1-on-1.
A Kaizen Event is a focused, short-term project aimed at improving a specific process or area within an organization. The term "Kaizen" comes from Japanese, meaning "continuous improvement." During a Kaizen event, a cross-functional team comes together to identify inefficiencies, brainstorm solutions, and implement changes, all within a few days to a week.
Kaizen events are a powerful tool for driving rapid, sustainable improvements within a business, with long-term benefits that extend beyond the immediate changes implemented.
