Tuesday, April 30th at the DETV studio in Wilmington, DE, pleae join Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long and the Behavioral health Consortium as they host special guest Sharec Sellem-Hannah for an exclusive screening of her film SILENCE ON THE STREETS.
Made in collaboration with New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, this film specifically looks at how the economic and social conditions in Black, Brown, Latino, and Native American communities shape their experience with opioid and fentanyl use as well as addiction and recovery.
Additionally, as part of this event, a panel discussion will be hosted regarding how the Social Determinants of Health relate to the state’s mental and behavioral health, and how our communities can inspire collaboration as we work to get impacted Delawareans and their families the support they need to sustain recovery.
