About this Event
Maria do Carmo always accompanied and cherished her son. And in her husband she believed she had an accomplice who welcomed her response to the growing demands of her success in the business area of Advertising and Communication as vital. Or perhaps not, when we begin to realize that reality is moving away from what she imagined, from the moment Maria do Carmo is unexpectedly and threateningly compelled to appear immediately at the Services of the Logical Surveillance Center. Neither the summons nor the Services afterwards provide any enlightenment, leaving her to wait her turn, which is not yet known when. Even more so when she realizes that others, like her, have been there, after all, for years, without anyone understanding exactly why, much less anticipating when their problems will be solved. But her nature, and the professional responsibilities thus seriously compromised, demand her to protest; and action, even if beyond the advisable limits - which penalizes her even more before the System.
But it turns out to be chance, brought about by the risk of losing hers hard-won professional position, that offers her what, as a last and unexpected resource, appears to be a solution. Even if it is risky. But the System, will never explain itself.
