Dr. David Luebke will share his work as a member of the design team for the permanent exhibition at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. His job was to write, edit, and manage the permanent exhibition’s textual elements – photograph captions, artifact labels, and (most importantly) the main narrative texts. Dr. Luebke will incorporate his research and teaching courses at the University of Oregon on Nazi Germany and the Holocaust into delivering a presentation that incorporates themes from the traveling exhibition at the library.Dr. Luebke is the Katherine G. Brady & Thomas A. Brady, Jr., Roger Chickering & Alison Baker Professor of Central European Histories at the University of Oregon.
