This course is a 2 day course targeted at those who require a High-Risk Work Licence for Elevated Work Platform issued from WorkSafe WA.Please be aware that this course has the following entrance requirements:
1. Be 18 years of age to obtain a High-Risk Licence from WorkSafe WA.
2. Have basic English reading, writing and numeracy skills to complete the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) - the mandated assessment.
3. Able to communicate in English without assistance from another person (including an interpreter or translator).
4. Be prepared to undertake the written and practical tests under specific test conditions (e.g. closed book, stipulated time frame). This includes completing assessments that will be sent to you before the course.
5. Be able to get on and off the forklift using three points of contact, without assistance.
6. Be able to provide one primary photo ID (e.g. drivers licence or passport) as required by WorkSafe WA and a coloured passport photo.
7. Wear enclosed footwear (steel capped boots preferable), long pants and long-sleeved shirt.
