
About this Event
Ewan studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is an inspirational player of countless jazz standards. He is a master of the clarinet which he took up at an early age. He’s engrossed himself in the history of jazz and blues.

, who was present as compère at Ewan’s performance which included ‘Premier Bal’ by Sydney Bechet, said:
“… it moved me more than any Bechet piece I have heard in my life”
He’s In huge demand in the UK and abroad so we are especially pleased to have Ewan playing this concert with his sextet at St Giles’; his third visit to us.
