A free monthly gathering to enjoy music playlists (45-minutes each) by local Djs and non-Djs of underground/independent music such as indie, electronic, alternative, punk, metal, garage rock, Brit-pop, Goth, international, 60’s rock and roll and hip-hop etc.This event will feature two vinyl DJ sets by THE NEEDLE DROPS alongside our regular playlists.
The NEEDLE DROPS (Ana and Mihnea Tencariu) have been collecting records since 2016, but it wasn’t until 2022 that they began performing together, playing live sets at festivals in Brașov (such as the Jazz & Blues Festival and Street Delivery Brașov), along with a variety of public and private parties.

We collect them, select them, and place them on the turntable for you.
We love the old, the new, the familiar, and the exotic.
We mix them to sound just right and drop the needle on them.
Two turntables, two needles, countless records, and good vibes to make it count."

Listen to music you probably won’t hear anywhere else in town. A hang out. Happening. Dancing or non-dancing. Whatever. Like the ethos of an American style college ratio station, free-form, promoting stuff not widely circulated via mainstream channels. A participatory event where you can play music in these realms.
