And for those curious why we’re not screening THE EXORCIST 2: it’s because it’s terrible. A critical and commercial failure when originally released, and hated by original writer Blatty, fans of the series avoid it at all costs. And since the third film picks up right after the first one, it just makes sense to omit it.
