**Registration in advance is helpful but not required. Registration link coming soon.
FULL EVENT INFORMATION:
In August baby birds begin to “graduate” into adulthood as they prepare for migration. Come join us for a celebration of this exciting adventure for the new adult birds...and to find out what birds are doing in the Superior Municipal Forest!
**American Sign Language interpretation is provided.
We welcome people of all ages, disabilities, abilities, and bird observation experiences to attend this accessible bird observation event along the Millennium Trail in Superior, Wisconsin (trail head at 28th Street/Wyoming Avenue). Sit along the path or move along a paved path with expert bird guides to lead discussion and aid observation.
**We have 15 pairs of binoculars for people to use, a spotting scope, a wheelchair mount for binoculars, and some portable seating.
**Also available for use, courtesy of IndiGO, is a track chair - an all-terrain, electric powered chair that can be used on hiking trails!
**Accessible portable bathrooms are also available.
**Light refreshments will be provided.
**Free transportation from the Superior Public Library to the trailhead.
**On bright sunny days there is limited shade, so please bring sun protection.
**Come and stay for the whole time, or meet up with or leave the group when you need.
**Please bring what you need to be comfortable (suggestions include water, crucial snacks, sun protection, and a portable chair).

This event is planned in partnership with the Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve, City of Superior, Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory, Minnesota Land Trust, Wisconsin Sea Grant, Embark Supported Employment, indiGO, and the Lake Superior Reserve.
These activities are designed with access in mind, but if you would like to request additional accommodations, please email [email protected] or call Luciana at 715-399-4085 at least 10 days before the event.
