Join our Outdoor Nature Art Workshop this Summer!
Spend a couple of enjoyable hours with us learning how to create Outdoor Nature Art from natural materials in Danesmead Wood. We'll leave in place some fabulous installations for everyone to enjoy! We welcome Mim Robson Artist to lead the Workshop.
You'll improve your nature creativity, art and sculpture skills, and have a lot of fun!

Practicalities
Meet at 10:00am at the entrance to Danesmead Wood nearest to the Millennium Bridge, next door to Fulford Cross Allotments. We'll be there from 9.45am. Look for the friendly people in purple York Bike Belles tops!
Please allow 2 hours for the Workshop. There is seating in and near the Wood. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome.
Please check the weather forecast beforehand and wear suitable clothing. Please bring gardening gloves as we will be gathering fallen natural materials. Please let us know beforehand if you would like us to provide gloves. Bring any personal Medic*tion, snacks and drinks you may need. There are toilets near the start point in Cycle Heaven. Please do not attend if you are unwell.
Please travel to the activity by walking, cycling or public transport if you can. All start points are easily accessible by foot, bike or bus. Check out York's Cycle Routes and Bus Information.
