Joi’s areas of interest include the prevention of diabetes, cardiovascular and other chronic diseases through whole foods nutrition, cooking as self-care, and healthy living behaviors. She is a native plant and herbal enthusiast and teaches the importance of safe and sustainable herb use, growth, and harvesting practices.
