About this Event
Sunday, July 21
Arrive in Utah at your leisure. If you're in town early enough there may be some karting or mountain biking to take advantage of with Todd and Paul, stay tuned for details after you register.
If you're in town earlier and would like to stay at the Hyatt Place Park City on saturday night as well, the hotel will honor our group rate for you that night, just let them know you're with Everyday Driver and you'll receive our rate, though you'll pay on your own for that night.
A catered, private dinner with the group and accomodations tonight are included. Had a long travel day? The dinner (some drinks and a private baretender included) is being catered to the hotel we stay in tonight, just head to your room from dinner whenever you'd like to!
Note, if you've come before this evening used to be an optional add-on, to simplify everything it's now included!
Monday, July 22
Let's get to the good stuff, driving begins this morning!
We will meet for a cars-and-coffee style launch before we hit the road from the Park City area through some of the shows favorite roads to shoot on, and drive for fun!
Breakfast/coffee is not provided. Please arrive with a full tank of gas, an empty bladder, and anything you need for a great day of road-tripping! There will be a cars-and-coffee style meetup before we huddle up for some information from the hosts and get the drive underway!
We will stop for lunch* before continuing on to the south and east, ending the day with dinner* and accommodations in Torrey, Utah.**
Tuesday, July 23
It's day number two of epic driving roads and fantastic company.
We will depart the area this morning and again, please ensure time to get your own breakfast, fill up your gas tank, and empty your bladder before we depart.
We will stop for a catered BBQ lunch* in Tropic, Utah. We will circle around the area returning to Torrey, Utah for dinner and 2nd night of accomodations**
Wednesday, July 24
We'll have breakfast together as our final group organized event.
Depart Torrey towards your next destination! There is definitely more fun driving along the way if you'd like help or advice finding these, feel free to message Mandy, or ask around during the adventure.
It has been observed that after a few days of getting to know each other, unofficial additional fun drives with groups needing to depart in similar directions from the adventure happen... we can neither confirm nor deny these social engagements as the average enthusiast can be a bit skittish to approach once separated from their herd, but if you're lucky, this natural phenomenon may occur during the annual gathering this year... only time will tell!
Testimonials from Adventure attendees:
"The enjoyment to cost ratio is very high. Sure, it's not inexpensive, but you get a well planned (read: someone spent a lot of time) adventure that includes lodging, food, and the opportunity to experience some of the best scenery and roads with amazing people. I've spent more on experiences that provided far less satisfaction."
" Far exceeded my expectations, the roads were better and less crowded than I had hoped for, there were more good roads (I expected more transit between good roads), and the scenery was stunning (when going slow enough to see it). And to top it off, all four hosts were so friendly and helpful."
" I liked how everything was pre-arranged so we could just focus on driving and then chatting during the meals and breaks "
" Everything was well organized and fun. Group was a good size (not too big). Radios were handy and led to some Amusing entertainment during traffic "
