About this Event
We have created a festival in Reading to support and raise awareness around mental health, wellness and suicide prevention.
It has been created in the memory of Diva Gibson, who sadly lost her life to suicide on the 10th May 2020.
In the aftermath everybody asked why, as though there was a singular cause. I had to put the pieces together and realised how every little thing had a place in her journey and how important hope and connection were in that.
So we are bringing together services and organisations who can help support with mental health, suicide prevention and for those bereaved by suicide in hopes that anyone who attends can feel hope and connection.
We will have panels and Q&A’s with professionals and those with lived experience about topics mentioned including new working practises within the NHS.
There will be workshops and signposting, and a community coming together to find solutions to our current mental health crisis.
Please join us.
If you are from an organisation who may be able to offer solutions or provide support to any attendees we welcome you to attend wearing identifiable clothing or a name badge so to promote your services.
If you believe you can contribute to the festival in any way, please do email [email protected]
