This class is a women's-only course and it will be led by only female instructors . There will be 3-4 hours of live fire instruction. This course will cover topics such as moving and shooting, utilizing cover, one handed reloads, malfunctions, and protecting your loved one during an armed encounter! This course will focus on utilizing your Every Day Carry(EDC) firearm and the method in which you intend to carry it. We will be building off of the skills learned in the Handgun Basics course, however the first course is not required to attend this class. Basic handgun knowledge is required. There are eleven spots available and this will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be live firing of weapons during this course so safety will be paramount. This will take place at an outdoor range so please dress accordingly. You will need to bring eye protection (prescription glasses count) and ear protection. Students are encouraged to bring their own firearm and ammunition for this course. However, there will be an option to rent a firearm for a small fee. The goal of this course is to build on the skills already familiar to the normal shooter. This course is meant to break down barriers and hesitancies that women may face when entering the firearms world. This course is meant to provide a safe and inclusive environment for learning about shooting and weapons manipulation.
