In light of the tragic loss that has occurred and continues to grow everyday I am asking the people of Edmonton to come together and help honor our Indigenous people. Let's come together to rally and march for those who do not want to celebrate Canada Day but would rather help raise awareness about the residential school system, the victims, and survivors of Canada. The Canadian Government needs to have all residential school sites checked for burial sites and justice needs to be served to ones who acted out these horrific crimes and are still among us. Let's Rally and March and take this day back from Canada until the truth can't be denied another day. Wear your Orange Shirts, ribbons skirts, or traditional regalia. Bring your drums, rattles, your signs, and your voice! We will rally at the Legislative Building at 11 am and march to City hall at 1 pm.
