About this Event
The session will share practical, evidence-informed strategies to improve learning and outcomes, alongside hands-on insight into effective provision within a high-needs infant school. Through learning walks, professional discussion and a Q&A with leaders and teachers, attendees will observe real examples of classroom practice, routines, SEND adaptations and whole-school systems that support success in disadvantaged contexts. The morning will explore how strong relationships, connections, pedagogy, consistent routines and a “can do” school culture overcome socio-economic barriers, positively influencing attendance and attainment. Colleagues will leave with practical models, ‘quick wins’ and key takeaways that can be adapted to their own settings, as well as opportunities for reflection, shared problem-solving and future cross-school collaboration. TVI has been judged Outstanding in three successive Ofsted inspections (2009, 2014 and 2024) and serves a community with high deprivation.
