First Inversion opens it's 10th Anniversary Season: Remember and Imagine, with a performance of the Brahms Requiem, featuring soloists Kearstin Piper Brown, soprano, and Holden Turner, baritone. The choir of First Inversion, conducted by Lee Wright, will sing the "London Version" of this iconic work with four-hand piano accompaniment. This concert is dedicated to the memory of music educator, soprano, and longtime member of many Rochester Choirs, Judy Boyd. Judy was a true "saint of First Inversion," offering generous annual support and attending every concert since our debut in 2014. Judy passed away peacefully at Serenity House in Victor on August 26th after a short illness.
As always, admission prices are suggested ($25/adult, $10/student, or name your own price) to support our work, but all are welcome. No one is ever turned away from a First Inversion concert.
