Facilitator – Stacey Thompson
Stacey Thompson is now local Southland gal, who has an absolute passion for all things events and weddings!
With a national wedding, event and hire business, Stacey lives and breathes planning. Events have been a passion for Stacey right from when she completed her Graduate Management Traineeship with Accor hotels, after her degree at SIT, and has continued to be involved in the industry ever since. With experience in a range of hotels, catering companies, not for profits, and most recently with the launch of her own business, weddings and corporate retreats. Tutoring back at SIT was also a highlight for two semesters, lecturing Event Management, Tourism and Business classes on the Hotel Management programme. Stacey is eager to share knowledge with local businesses and bring that spark into many more local events.
Spaces are limited to just 10 participants to keep the session personal and interactive. If you’ve got an event in the pipeline, bring it along—we’ll help you map it out! We ask you provide a brief description of your event when you register.
