Evensong with the Laying Up of the White Ensign of HMS Prince of Wales

A special ceremony to mark the affiliation between the aircraft carrier HMS PRINCE OF WALES and the city of Bristol. Crew members from the ship will parade the flag into the Cathedral as part of a special Evensong service. The flag will then be ‘laid up’ permanently in the Cathedral marking the affiliation between City and ship.
