On Wednesday 24th September KLCCC will be hosting a very special 'Evening with..' event when they will be joined for their screening of 'Lee', the biopic of renowned photographer Lee Miller by her son Antony Penrose. Kate Winslow starred in and directed the 2024 film which tells the story of Lee's journey from Vogue model, to a photographer working with Man Ray then later covering WWII including being one of the first correspondents in the concentration camps and Hitler's bunker. Antony is depicted in the film by Josh O'Conner. Antony will be able to give insight into the toll her wartime experiences had on Lee and how he only discovered her wonderful archive of photographs after her death. There is a major retrospective of Lee's work opening at the Tate London this October so this event will be perfect preparation for that.Tickets are now on sale from the Majestic from £4.95. The screening will take place in the fully accessible Screen 2.
