About this Event

Join us on Thursday, January 22nd at RM38 in 1938 Indochine for “An Evening with The Last Drop Distillers and Sazerac Master Blender Drew Mayville.”

Meet Drew Mayville, Master Blender and Director of Quality for Sazerac. Drew has more than 40 years of experience in the beverage industry and has been at Sazerac since 2004. Based at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, he has had a hand in blending Weller, Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, and other brands in the portfolio.

The Last Drop Distillers is owned by the Sazerac Company and specializes in exquisitely refined, complex, and extremely rare whiskies that are literally one of a kind.

The tasting will feature these five selections of The Last Drop:

Last Drop #28 – Signature Blend Kentucky Straight Whiskey created by Drew Mayville, a blend of vintage bourbon and rye from the archives of Buffalo Trace (1458 bottles produced, 121.4 proof, $4000 per bottle)

Last Drop #32 – 32 year old Single Malt Irish Whiskey, finished in an ex-Oloroso Sherry butt (663 bottles produced, 92.8 proof, $2500 per bottle)

Last Drop #37 – 27 year old Buffalo Trace Whiskey, a marriage of the three oldest barrels lying at Buffalo Trace distilled in 1995, 1996, and 1997 (508 bottles produced, 121.8 proof, $10,500 per bottle)

Last Drop #38 – 55 year old Tomintoul Single Malt Scotch Whisky, finished in ex-Matusalem Sherry cask (430 bottles produced, 86.2 proof, $6950 per bottle)

Last Drop #39 – 22 year old Japanese Whisky from two casks of the defunct Hanyu distillery aged in Mizunara oak (319 bottles produced, 118.2 proof, $5500 per bottle)

The event will include these five whiskies, a five-course dinner, and the opportunity to purchase bottles and have them signed by Drew Mayville.

Only 18 seats are available for this incredible evening at $375 each.
