Join us as we enjoy an evening walk from Semaphore to Largs Bay and return on Friday 23rd January 2026.

WALK DETAILS
We will walk for approximately 90 minutes from Semaphore towards Largs Bay and return.
The walk is an easy walk along urban paths with the option to include some beach/sand walking.

AFTER WALK DINNER
At the completion of the walk, participants may wish to join us for dinner at The Palais.

MEET TIME/LOCATION
Please arrive at our meet spot below at 5.45pm for a 6.00pm start.
The meet spot is the carpark on the Esplanade near Palais Hotel in Semaphore (near junction of Esplanade and Cave Street). Toilets located near carpark.

I.C.E. MEDICAL DETAILS FORM
Don’t forget to print off your I.C.E. Medical Details Form which can be downloaded from our website. If you are unable to print from home, your walk leader will have spare forms with them at the beginning of the walk.

WEATHER AND GEAR

If the weather forecast is for extreme weather, this walk will be cancelled the day before and fully refunded.
We will only cancel last minute (by text message and email) if there is a severe weather warning/thunderstorm warning or weather events that are likely to impact on the safety of our leaders and walkers.
Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be needed:
- a daypack/backpack/bumbag or similar for personal gear
- 1-2 litres of water
- sun protection (hat, sunnies, suncream)
- wet weather gear (check the forecast and plan accordingly!)
- blister kit/personal medication
- snacks/fruit you may wish to have along the way
- comfortable walking shoes
- layerable clothing for before/during/after the walk (eg. jumper/jacket)

Please ensure you have the minimum gear required as no refunds are possible after booking. If you arrive underprepared without wet weather clothing or the gear listed above, our Leaders have the right to ask you not to walk with us for safety reasons.
Note: All our leaders carry group first aid kits, emergency communication devices and are qualified walk leaders.

OTHER INFORMATION
Our walks are all about fun, fitness and friendship - not a personal training session. If we cannot walk and talk at the same time, we are walking too fast! And we never leave anyone behind.
Minimum age requirement for our walks is 18 years old (as long they are accompanied by a supervising adult). Please check with us if unsure.
For the walk to go ahead, we need a minimum of 6 walkers registered by the registration closing time (5pm the day before the walk).
If a walk is cancelled due to the minimum number not being met, participants who have registered will be notified by text the evening before the walk and a refund will be given.
During our walks, photos may be taken for use publicly on our website, social media channels and e-newsletter. If you do not wish for your photo to be taken/used, please notify us via email - [email protected]
