About this Event
Join us for an Evening of Remembrance as we honor the past, present, and unknown victims of child abuse. Through a candlelight ceremony, we will reflect on the lives impacted by abuse and recommit ourselves to protecting, believing, and listening to the children in our communities.
This event will feature a powerful testimony from a survivor who endured years of abuse before being saved by a caring adult who chose to listen. His story is one of resilience, perseverance, and hope—a reminder of the profound difference one adult can make in a child’s life.
Special musical performances by children from the Delaware County community will bring light and emotion to the evening. The Muncie Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation will also be read, standing as a symbol of commitment and a call to action for our community.
Too often, the signs of abuse are discounted, overlooked, or misunderstood. This event is a call to see, listen, and act. We invite you to stand with us in sorrow, in remembrance, and in hope—for a future where every child is heard and protected.
Please join us for an evening of reflection, resilience, and remembrance.
