Don’t miss this unique show! Yes, you read it correctly: duoprovs, just duoprovs. Cohosted by Mindy Aratow and Eileen Gentile, “An Evening of Duoprovs” features innovative performances from the following five teams:

Naughty by Nurture (Richie and Kelcie Warmkessel)
Creamy & Crunchy (Justin Passino and Jamie Bleasdale)
Hmmmmmmmmm (Sam Beedle and Sean Untamo)
We’re Good, You’re Great (Matt Candio and Evan Stutts)
You’ve seen them perform in their own duoprov shows, on independent teams, and on House Teams; see them “double trouble” on this night. Each team will perform long-form improv for 15 minutes based on normal, wacky, or unusual audience suggestions.
MINDY ARATOW BIOSKETCH
Mindy Aratow, cohost for “An Evening of Duoprovs,” is the show creator and is on one of the featured teams. A lifelong resident of NJ, she loves her home state and doesn’t want to hear any silly NJ jokes. The concept was born when Mindy was pacing around her home trying to think of a unique improv show idea. She accidentally (or was it on purpose?) stepped on a spiky cat toy and while howling in pain, her mind cleared, and the concept was created.
Mindy graduated from the ArtsQuest Improv Program in 2018. In 2018, she cofounded the independent team, Model Citizen, which she also manages. She created a second independent team, Throw Like a Girl, in 2020. Mindy is also the manager of this all-woman team. Both teams have regular performances at different venues in the Lehigh Valley and have appeared several times at the SteelStacks Improv Comedy Festival.
Her comedy sketch, “Just Talking Here,” was performed at the Rough Sketch show at SteelStacks in 2020. In addition, she was a contestant on the ValleyWeird Squares/Scares game show in 2020 and was the narrator for the “Oregon Trail Road Trip” rough sketch in 2019, both at SteelStacks.
EILEEN GENTILE BIOSKETCH
Cohost Eileen Gentile is an improvisor, actor, and writer from Bethlehem where she lives with her well-trained family and three unruly dogs. She discovered improv after surviving breast cancer, menopause, and raising a teenager. She has never looked back after diving headfirst into ArtsQuest comedy classes at every opportunity. Eileen has performed with the all-female improv team Throw Like a Girl since its inception in 2020.
Her other accomplishments include performing the character sketch Bunny Seidle in The Wedding Show (2018). In addition, she has performed at The Moth in NYC (2017) and was the proud recipient of a third-place writing prize from Second City and Cornell University in the form of an Amazon gift card which was quickly spent on new linen sheets. Eileen’s work can also be seen in the deep background of TVs New Amsterdam (2018), Blue Bloods (2019), Succession (2018), and The Good Cop (2019). Her work in films includes The Worry Doll (2018) and Taking a Little Time to Feel Sorry for Myself (2017).
