was born and raised in Athens, Georgia but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney, she has now spent more years on the comedy stage than in the courtroom. Karen entertains audiences nationwide with her hilarious and relatable observations of family, middle age, daily life, and being a Southerner living in Maine. Her nostalgic stories of growing up in the 70s are a big hit with GenXers, Gen Jonesers and Baby Boomers. Karen’s “real” humor, clean material and conversational delivery connect quickly with audiences and have built a strong community of friends on social media. Karen's first Dry Bar Comedy Special, “Go Dawgs,” currently has almost 7 million views on Facebook, and her second special, “Rub Some Dirt On It,” will be released later this year. Her second album “Cocktails in Pajamas” was released in July 2022 and can be heard on streaming platforms everywhere. Her credits also include Sirius XM Radio, Gotham Comedy Live and Nickelodeon TV. Karen lives in Cumberland, Maine and misses Waffle House very much.
