Group ride along cycle routes and quiet roads. All Women WelcomeJoin us for a leisurely short women's bike ride starting from Nottingham train station riding along the canal to The Hook nature reserve at Lady Bay, and back by the River Trent and through the Meadows.
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and stop for breaks whenever you want. This is the perfect chance to build confidence on a bike and meet other women.
MEETING POINT: Nottingham Train Station, opposite Tesco on the pedestrian walkway entrance to the station. Here is a link to google maps and see the photo below. We'll be meeting from 5.45pm ready to ride promptly at 6pm.

You'll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and first aiders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. This ride is funded by the National Lottery Reaching Communities project.
You won't need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
