Group ride along the river lean and cycle paths from BulwellJoin us for a leisurely short women's bike ride starting from outside the Pharmacy at Bulwell Riverside, south along the River Leen through Basford and back through cycle paths and Bulwell Bogs. It is all along cycle paths with one small joining section, but we can use the pavement there also.
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group. This is the perfect chance to build confidence on a bike and meet other women.

You'll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders and mechanics who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This session is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. It is part of our Travel Well project in partnership with Nottingham City Council and funded by Active Travel England. All attendees will need to complete a registration survey for our funders. You can sace time completing it before the ride (click here) to save time or you can complete it on one of our devices after the ride.
Note this ride is for self-identifying women only.
You won't need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
