About this Event
Join historian Taunalyn Ford as she gives a history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in India.
Taunalyn Ford first visited India in 1986 with the BYU Young Ambassadors and developed a deep love for and interest in the people and history of India, particularly religious history. Her PhD fieldwork took her back to research Latter-day Saints in India and now as a historian specializing in global Church history in the publications division of the Church History Department, she sees the many times that the history of the Church in India illustrates the phrase "It's always 1830 somewhere in the Church."
