Come celebrate the legacy of Winston Lake Golf Course and the people who have made it so special!About this Event
On Thursday, May 1st at 5:30 PM, Mayor Pro Tempore, Denise D. Adams and First Tee - Central Carolina are teaming up to host the first ever, “Evening at The Lake”. This event will bring together Winston Salem’s incredible golf community to remember Winston Lake’s history, and honor the people who made it special.
2025 Honorees: Harold Dunovant (Winston Lake’s “First Pro” - 1929 to 2002) and Jeffrey Dunovant (son and head pro at the John A. White GC in Atlanta, Georgia). Jeff Dunovant will be on hand to share stories about his father and greet the Winston Lake golf community.
Evening at the Lake will feature great music, hors d’oeuvres, top shelf drinks, putting games, a 50/50 charity raffle, cigar bar, Winston Lake photo gallery, golf fashion show and more!
The event is free to attend. Show us what you got and wear your hottest golf attire! Prizes for best dressed will be given.
A special presentation of planned course upgrades and tours of recent renovations will also be taking place during the event.
