About this Event
This year’s conference theme is What's Next in Venture. Keynote speakers and panel topics will be made available as we get closer to the conference, though you can expect content to span the current state of venture in different industries, investment strategies and diligence, frontiers of innovation, accessing funding and resources, scaling successful businesses, and more. There will be ample opportunities for networking and mentoring, both online and offline, including coffee chats throughout the day.
Key Details:
- The core of the conference will run from 10am - 5pm, you'll hear from 20-25 speakers, and there'll be a networking reception afterward.
- In addition to hundreds of students across all undergraduate and graduate programs, we expect 100+ U-M alumni and friends of EVC to attend, bringing experience across entrepreneurship, venture capital, and as LPs.
- The day after EVCCon, Michigan plays Oregon in the Big House, so make your visit a weekend trip and stay for one of the biggest college football games of the year!
- A light breakfast, coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided over the course of the day, with light apps available at the reception.
- Early-bird ticket prices will soon transition to standard pricing, so register now to secure your spot!
EVCCon is an annual event organized by the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital (EVC) Club at Michigan Ross, in collaboration with the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. And a heads up to returning attendees -- this school year, we pivoted from the spring to the fall to align the event with a home football weekend, so we will not have a spring conference.
