Come and join us at Newtown Football Club on Saturday 9th August for a fun-filled charity football tournament, raising funds for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. After the success of the EvaBuild Vs. Hilltop charity football game last Summer, we're making it bigger and better this year with a football tournament, 8 local businesses from Newtown will be taking part!
What you can expect:

• Food & Drink provided by Newtown AFC's Catering Team
• Fun for all the family with an ice-cream van and face-painting
• An exciting football tournament with local businesses taking part, competing for the top spot trophy!

ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL BE DONATED TO LINGEN DAVIES! Lingen Davies Cancer Fund is a charity that supports cancer services across Mid Wales, Telford and Shropshire. This includes funding specialist equipment and technologies in the cancer centre at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital to improve the accuracy and speed of treatment. Lingen Davies do vital work within the community too, raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, encouraging people to take up screening to catch cancer early. They have also launched a series of well-being programmes for individuals going through cancer treatment including yoga, horticulture and more.
