This intermediate-level course, running from 9 AM to 5 PM on Oct 23, 24, and 25, 2024, at the Georgian College Barrie Campus, is designed for technicians looking to advance their careers and individuals eager to convert gas vehicles to electric. The workshop costs $1,800 USD or $2,450 CAD and offers a comprehensive introduction to electric vehicle systems, focusing on converting gas vehicles to electric propulsion.
Led by an expert from the renowned EV West Conversion Shop, this fast-paced course balances theory with hands-on laboratory activities. Participants will learn about electric motor installation, CAN network programming basics, system monitoring and diagnostics, high voltage safety, and specialty service tools.
