Join Opportunity Miami and Miami-Dade County for our 14th climate tech meetup on Electric Vehicle Charging on December 9th at The Miami-Dade Beacon Council. The meetup will feature an overview of the County's goals for a countywide EV charging network, including implementation of a $4.7M US DOT Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) grant. This presentation will be followed by an EV workforce roundtable to connect industry demand to workforce training opportunities. The meetup will begin and end with networking. All are welcome and please share this with everyone in your network working on EV charging.

How to find us: The Beacon Council is located at 80 SW 8th Street, Suite 2400, in the Brickell City Tower, also known as the Chase Building.
The pedestrian entrance is on the corner of SW 9th Street and SW 1st Avenue (across from the Publix entrance).
There is also a pedestrian ramp on SW 9th Street towards the back of the building.
Parking: There is street parking available in the area, as well as garage parking. For garage parking – the exact address to enter the garage is 86 SW 8th Street. To access the elevators to the Beacon Council – once you have parked, take the elevator down to the lobby, cross the hallway, and take the elevator to the 24th floor.
