As part of European Week of Sport Dlr Sports Partnership and Softball Leinster are inviting both male & females over the age of 16yrs to joing us for a come & try session in Shanganagh park on Friday 27th of September 2024.
Softball is a unique and engaging sport that is perfect for anyone over the age of 16yrs both male & female of all ages and skill levels. If you're looking for a fun and exciting activity, then why not give softball a try?
Softball is a bat and ball team sport like both rounders and baseball played in the summer months from April to mid-September. “Soft” refers not to the condition of the ball (which is very hard), but to the underarm throw in which it is pitched to the batter, which means that games are faster-paced and more action-packed. This come & try session is a great way to meet new people, get some exercise, and have fun in a supportive and friendly environment. open to all women over the age of 16yrs and above. Suspect Softball Club & All Girls Softball will supply all the equipment such as bats, gloves and balls
