On Friday September 29th European Researchers Night events will take place at locations across Dublin. There will be activities which combine education with entertainment, such as hands-on experiments, performances, tours, talks, games and competitions for all ages and all interests. This free festival of research will run from 4pm-9pm and is run by ERN hosts Trinity College Dublin, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, the ADAPT Centre, and St James’s Hospital.
European Researchers Night is a Europe-wide event where people come together to celebrate and learn about research. It has run annually since 2005 and this year it will take place in 26 countries. The evening provides a unique opportunity for researchers and the public to interact with each other and includes exhibitions, cinema screenings, and book launches which are free and open to everyone to attend.
