European Leadership Summit

The ELS will mark the beginning of a two-year leadership journey that will inspire and equip leaders, personally and strategically, to contextualize the Free Methodist vision and mission and to apply it to the particular challenges of our present-day, changing world.

With input from effective practitioners and network leaders, as well as the opportunity to interact with other leaders serving on the continent, vision will be renewed, confidence in leadership will be built, and leadership skills strengthened. Participants will thus be better equipped to invest in the lives of others. Time for discussion, reflection, and refreshing will also be provided.

Who is it for? Regional leaders, country leaders, key local leaders, emerging leaders serving with the Free Methodist Church. This is not a family-oriented event. Couples are welcome if both are involved in leadership, but no children may attend.

Per Person Costs:

European Leadership Summit: €225 double occupancy, €275 single occupancy

Europe Leadership Network AND European Leadership Summit* : €315 double occupancy, €385 single occupancy

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that country leaders and/or regional leaders collect all the funds for their participants and make one payment for their group upon arrival in Budapest.

Important Details:

• Cost includes accommodation for 3 (or 4*) nights, all breakfasts, 2 (or 3) dinners and 2 (or 3*) lunches.
• Cost includes dinner on the day of arrival for those present at the dinner time (5:00 p.m.).
• Cost does not include airport transfers.
• Tuesday, September 26 is a travel day for those participating in the Europe Leaders Network.
• Wednesday, September 27 is a travel day for those participating in the Europe Leaders Summit.
• Saturday, October 1 is a return travel day for everyone.

*NOTE: The European Leadership Network meeting will take place on the day prior to the European Leadership Summit. Participation in the European Leadership Network is by invitation only.
