About this Event
The European Innovation Council is the largest tech investor in Europe. It is a $10 billion funding engine supporting the development and commercialization of SMEs and startups across multiple sectors, including Biotech & Medtech, Cleantech/Energy, and Hardware. The EIC is funded by the European Bank and is part of the €95.5 billion Europe Horizon initiative to achieve the goals of the UN’s Sustainability Plan by 2030.
On May 20th, at the SF INSEAD Hub, we are honored to host 15 of the most promising startups selected by the EIC and a U.S. venture committee comprised of top healthcare experts in the industry. INSEAD has engaged thought leaders to educate these founders on the essentials of building and scaling a sustainable healthcare company. We are thrilled to partner with Europe’s best and brightest deep tech innovators, delivering them a tailored INSEAD-EIC entrepreneurial program for the day. The goal is to equip these healthcare founders with the tools they need to navigate the unique U.S. landscape and thrive in this market. Throughout the day, participants will gain invaluable insights on product-market fit, mastering the art of fundraising, ethical leadership, and more.
To conclude, we are inviting investors and enterprise leaders to join us at 5:00 p.m. for a high-level Pitch Event. Here, the founders will showcase their cutting-edge innovations, inviting constructive feedback and fostering meaningful connections. The companies are in the A-C stages of fundraising, and many of them have multiple patents, reflecting the strength of the EIC fund. This will also be a rare opportunity to meet some of the most respected financial and innovative leaders of the EIC and of Europe, who will also be in attendance.
