Tending the Roots: Celebrating 30 years of Ecovillage impact 🌱
Every year, hundreds of people from across the globe are drawn by the call of community to come together at the European Ecovillage Gathering. This festival of ecovillage living celebrates community in all its forms and offers all who attend a chance to meet ecovillagers, learn tools for community development, network with like-minded souls, and discover practices for social, economic, cultural and ecological regeneration.

In this changing world, coming back to roots means moving forward to connection.
This year marks a truly historic moment as we celebrate 30 years of the Global Ecovillage Network and 20 years of Gaia Education. Our Gathering extends an invitation to return to the roots - the places of beginning and becoming. We will weave together the wisdom of the past with new ways of being, creating spaces where transformation can take root and flourish.
Set in the heart of Hungary, the 2025 Gathering brings together the rich cultural heritage of Eastern European communities, where age-old practices of self-reliance harmoniously blend with contemporary approaches to sustainable living. With our gracious host Mindenegyüttmegy and amidst the vibrant venue of Manas Garden, we will nurture our roots and plant new seeds of a more regenerative future for all.

🌱Visit the Gathering ticketing page on the website (https://ecovillagegathering.org/2025-tickets/) for a full overview of the event, plus membership, ticket, food and accommodation pricing. You can also see available regional and youth discounts. Come with the whole family - tickets and membership for kids are for free!
When you’re ready to book, follow the link which will take you to the GEN Europe membership and ticket form.
🌿You’ll first be asked to become a member and pay your membership.
🌿Once you have purchased your individual membership, you will get access to the membership area, where you can purchase your Gathering 2025 ticket (via a form).
🌿Finally, you will receive an email with a link to book your food & accommodation with our Hungarian host, Mindenegyüttmegy Egyesület.
